Jugopetrol donates over 400 humanitarian packages for the socially most vulnerable

Jugopetrol AD presented today the first part of its donation to the Red Cross of Montenegro in the form of food and hygiene packages for the socially most vulnerable families.

The total value of the donation is EUR 10,025 and it includes 430 humanitarian packages, 215 with hygiene and 215 with food items. The assistance will be distributed through the Red Cross municipal organizations across Montenegro.

"We are pleased that in these challenging times for all of us there are companies that show concern for the citizens and the society as a whole, such as Jugopetrol AD, and we thank them for this valuable donation. Humanitarian packages will contribute to our response to the needs of beneficiaries across Montenegro, drastically higher in number in this situation. The current circumstances also prove that only together and through joint efforts we can provide a good response to the overall problems that we face, including the humanitarian ones", announced the Red Cross of Montenegro.

Jugopetrol AD has already provided support to the Red Cross of Montenegro in response to the coronavirus situation in the form of a EUR 5,000 fuel donation, which has helped in carrying out field activities. The donation of humanitarian packages is, thus, a continuation of their contribution and cooperation with the Red Cross.

Supporting and helping the most vulnerable social groups to whom this donation will be presented is just one of the activities we have undertaken to contribute, as a company, to remedying of the consequences of the novel coronavirus. Thanks to the dedicated team of the Red Cross volunteers, humanitarian packages will be delivered to those who need help the most", stated the representative of Jugopetrol AD when delivering the donation.
