Jugopetrol AD donated computers to the Health Center Podgorica

In cooperation with the World Health Organization and the Health Center Podgorica, Jugopetrol AD, EKO petrol stations, donated seven computers and monitors for the needs of the Call Center of Health Center Podgorica (worth 4,235 euros).

The World Health Organization has mobilized technical expertise for the needs of developing and establishing a "Covid 19 Call Center" to improve access to quality healthcare for COVID patients. With the establishment of an operational COVID-19 dispatch center, the citizens of Podgorica have been able to be one phone call away from the professional support of the Health Center Podgorica. Also, through this new digital platform, it is possible to provide access to SARS-CoV2 diagnostics based on a telephone conversation with the operator. The establishment of the dispatch center for COVID-19 is another important step toward the integration of health services that focus on citizens and their needs. Support to the citizens of Podgorica through the COVID-19 dispatch center is provided by a team of dedicated and trained healthcare workers up to seven days a week from 7 AM to 9 PM. By calling the phone number 020/227-722, you quickly and efficiently receive instructions from the doctor who based on your symptoms and the present risk factors evaluates the further plan of diagnosis. In this way, the method of monitoring, and the quality of communication with the patient has been improved, which is especially important for patients with an increased risk of developing a severe form of the disease, who are monitored by a doctor/dispatcher daily. In case of deterioration of the health condition, the doctor/dispatcher can show an urgent examination in the outpatient clinic, and refer the patient to further diagnostics. In the facility at Stari Aerodrom, where the Covid center is located, there is a radiology service and a laboratory where our citizens who suspect to have covid can be treated.
